Diet isn’t overly important but can be useful. While it’s beneficial to take supplements, the same goals can eventually be reached with just more hard work and food. When using supplements or going on a diet its always important to read the ingredients lest you might be poisoned. At Defiance Fitness we have several diets that can help you lose weight quickly, help you be more healthy, cut off excess body fat while you work out, or help you bulk and gain more mass.

Mediterranean Diet
Our base diet at Defiance Fitness is the Mediterranean diet, studies have shown it leads to a longer life expectancy, healthier lifestyle, and lower risk of illness. It consists of mostly unprocessed foods such as fruits, vegetables, fish, and nuts. Moderate: beans, whole grains, poultry, and dairy. Leaving very little red meat or bread consumed. It is always cooked, usually pan fried or grilled, in olive oil. Often served with water, wine, or beer. This diet works well with most modern eating habits such as vegan, vegitarian, and peskatarian because very little needs to be modified.
Cutting Weight
Cutting weight is one of the easiest diets to follow. For best results do this diet continually along side the Accuracy workout. The diet starts with a fully balanced bacon and eggs breakfast, then continues on to unlimited eating of the perfect salad.
Water Fasting
Fasting on nothing but water for a day or two can be a useful tool for appetite control, internal cleansing, and mental sedation. After the first day or so of nausea it becomes very easy and the stomach returns to its normal behaviors for hunger. This can be done in tandem with our other diets if you can suffice. It is important to note that as with all starvation both muscle mass and body fat will be lost.
Purity Diet
The purity diet is a thirty day liquid starvation diet that heals the digestive track, shrinks the stomach, and induces cellular regeneration. Unlike other liquid diets, it contains the necessary vitamins to stay healthy: Vitamins A, B, C, D, Calcium, and Potassium and all the necessary ingredients can be purchased at any common grocer. This diet is primarily for rejuvenating the internal organs but can be used to lose weight and cleanse the system. While on the diet, note that turning orange is harmless, if you have trouble with nodules on your tongue gargle some water, if you encounter acid reflux take a sip of milk. This diet is NOT to be done with exercise of any kind or in moderation. No reason to skip coffee though!
Supplements
Supplements are beneficial and taking them with berries and apple juice is a great way to gain natural sugar without the side effects of some other juices and your choice of berries will help you gain healthy calories back along with antioxidants and vitamins, while lowering your body fat. They are the go-to for supplements because everything tastes better as a smoothie or, depending on the diet, milkshake. You can also get cold shock protiens from a sudden dramatic change to cold temperatures by doing cold plunges, working out in freezing temperatures in athletic clothing, or even just going for a walk in freezing rain wearing minimal clothes after going to the gym.
